Father's Day is just around the corner!

Each year on Father's Day we celebrate the men who serve as parents, coaches, teachers, and mentors to children. It takes a heart full of love and generosity to serve in these roles, so to show our appreciation, QCC kids will be doing activities and making crafts this week to honor the men who make such a big difference in the lives of the children they love.

3rd Annual QCC Olympics! And the Winner is...

The kids from each QCC Center got together last week for the 3rd Annual QCC Olympics. In a great upset, Conway ousted reigning champion, Ft. Smith Savannah, who has taken home the gold for the last 2 years!

A good time was had by all, but you can bet every Director is already planning their strategy for winning the 2018 medal.

Meet Katy Burroughs

Katy Burroughs, Director of QCC in Conway

Hi! My name is Katy Burroughs and I am the Director of our Conway center. I have been a part of this great company for almost four years now and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Arkansas Tech in Professional Studies of Early Education and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree at the University of Central Arkansas. I love working with children and watching them learn, explore, and grow! I believe all kids deserve to be loved and to learn in a safe environment with leaders that put the child’s needs over their own.

Costume Dress-Up Day

What kid doesn't love to play dress up?! But it's not just for fun and games. Playing with costumes and dressing as different characters fires up children's imaginations and allows them to explore new ideas and concepts that they don't run into in their day-to-day life. Check out this awesome article from the National Association for the Education of Young Children about how playing dress-up can be an important (and fun!) part of learning.
